A Traveling 'Nut'mare

Back to Blogging

To my favorite blog readers,

I should start by saying sorry for my absence! While it was good to get a break, it was a little too long to be away! To catch you up, I had my hardest college semester to date where it seemed like everything was tumbling on top of my shoulders. I think everyone feels that way at some point in school. However, I finished the semester strong and it led to an extremely fun and relaxing Christmas break. I had family come to town (hello!), traveled to Columbus to see my boyfriend’s family (hello!), and relaxed at the beach in Hilton Head for a week with my parents and sister (thanks Grandma and Grandpa!). It was at the beach where I again felt the need to continue writing and sharing.

Through the fall, I’ve been in the works with Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center to get enrolled in a new allergen study. While our schedules haven’t perfectly aligned and I’m not quite there yet, I hope to see new enrollment periods pop-up in the new year!

It could be considered a New Year’s Resolution, or really just the timing of things, but I’m excited to get back into my blog posts for A Traveling ‘Nut’Mare as often as I can. I start my first day of my last semester today and I feel a renewed sense of energy to provide my story of living and traveling with allergies in whatever way I can. With new ideas and tons of support, I’m looking forward to getting the ball rolling.

When I needed a break from the blog in the fall, I received some feedback on how to make the blog better than ever. Bear with me as I continue to learn myself!

I’ll be back again soon!

Adventure awaits,

Kendall
