National Peanut Butter Day

2K4A8648.JPGAs I drove home from work tonight, I heard this message on the radio…today is National Peanut Butter Day! While I’m not doing too much celebrating, I want to wish all of my nut-loving friends a happy day! As I thought about it on my drive, peanut butter has become such a CRITICAL part of our eating society. So much so that it is unavoidable. Midday snacks in the office might consist of a handful of mixed nuts, a baseball game is surely to bring the salty snack, and most kids love a good PB&J.

Here’s a clever article on 10 fun facts about peanut butter. It tells you everything you need to know about today – 75-90% of homes have a jar of peanut butter in them, peanuts are actually called legumes, and an average kid’s going to eat 1,500 sammies. Yikes.

To all my friends – happy National Peanut Butter Day! So, what’s the answer – creamy or chunky?

Adventure awaits,

Kendall
